If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a town to build a Community Hub. Starting with the generous grant from the Town Trust which gave Stratford Samaritans the confidence and funds to take on this exciting project, other local charities, businesses and individuals are helping Tyler House in all sorts of ways. We would like to say a huge thank-you to all of them.
To see how their gifts are helping local people or to find out how you, your business or group could become a Hub Supporter, please call contact our Hub Manager on 01789 332545 or email@example.com.
Stratford Town Trust is a grant-giving charity financed by the properties and funds of two charities, the Guild and College estates. Since 2001 it has given out £1 million a year to local good causes, community projects and initiatives that make Stratford a better place to live, work and study. It funded the complete refurbishment of Tyler House, support while the Hub was being established and the part-time role of Hub Manager for two years.
Corstorphine & Wright has a broad portfolio of work that covers commercial, industrial, education, retail and leisure, and residential projects across the UK. These award-winning architects had a vision to make Tyler House a happy building. Working pro-bono, their commitment to the project has been extraordinary. We are hugely grateful that they were able to translate our vision for the Community Hub into such a lovely reality.
Like so many charities in Stratford, we were lucky enough to meet the “furniture fairies” Richard and his team at NFU Mutual. Desks, chairs, cupboards…they generously gave us so much of what we needed to furnish the rooms at Tyler House.
Leamington-based Pure Office Solutions responded to our request for desks by generously supplying furniture for our Hot-desking Suite, Study Rooms and making a bespoke table for our meeting room.
